About the International TVET Conference 2026

The International TVET Conference 2026 is a 3-day high-level forum organized by the Ministry of Education, Kenya in partnership with the Business Member Organizations Secretariat (BMOS) — comprising KAM, KEPSA, KNCCI, KNFJA and others — with technical support from GIZ, and jointly financed by Kenya, Finland, Germany and KOICA.

Objectives

  • Share achievements and impact from Phase II of Dual TVET implementation.
  • Consolidate partnerships among government, TVET institutions, industry, and development partners.
  • Highlight success stories of TVET graduates and industry uptake.
  • Facilitate peer learning through case studies, panels, and technical sessions.
  • Strengthen visibility of Dual TVET as a proven model for skills development.

Expected Outcomes

  • Strengthened visibility of Dual TVET as a national skills development model.
  • Renewed commitment from industry and government, reflected in a signed MoU.
